THE web page is devoted to Robbie Tuer and his fellow cyclists who went above and past to complegte a mammoth biking problem for charities near his coronary heart.
Ending the trip at Raughton Head, Robbie commented on how heart-warming everybody was in direction of supporting the bike trip, whether or not being one of many 11 mad cyclists doing the entire 138 miles – a member that joined for a part of the journey or ‘a few of you who got here to assist and cheer us on alongside the best way.’
“An enormous thanks go to Graham Holliday for serving to me consider the thought, to Richard Gardiner (District President), Gill Winspear (District Vp) and Sid Sibbald (Ex District President) for giving up your weekend to be within the assist automobile’s and supply us with these nicely wanted snacks and bottles of water alongside the best way – and provides us that additional little bit of power once we wanted it. To Megan Norwood and Will Horsley for driving the second assist automobile on day one and two respectively. An enormous thanks go to Wigton YFC who offered us lunch on Saturday, Penrith YFC who offered a nicely wanted banana, bar of chocolate and a few hydration at a key level on day two and to Skelton YFC for offering us a light-weight lunch on Sunday. The largest of thanks goes to our resident First Aider for the weekend, Josie Mitchinson, who I owe a lot to.
