Aragon Grand Prix poleman Fabio Quartararo says his “unusual” MotoGP FP3 crash wasn’t a results of him unnecessarily pushing within the chilly circumstances and insists he “did nothing flawed”.

Quartararo’s Saturday virtually resulted in catastrophe when he crashed closely at Flip 14 during the morning practice session.

Having been stretchered off monitor, the Petronas SRT rider was taken to the medical centre for checks.

“It is not that I braked 20 metres later, or I braked tougher.

Quartararo admits he was “nervous” initially as he could not put wait on his legs, however shortly realised his championship hopes weren’t in jeopardy when he understood he’d not damaged any bones within the crash.

When requested by Autosport if he was nervous his championship could be compromised, he mentioned: “No, as a result of I knew nothing was damaged.

“I knew that it was going to be painful. Once I needed to face up I used to be nervous, as a result of I arise and put the load on the leg and felt it isn’t good.

“Was type of a wierd second for me as a result of it was fairly a wierd crash.

“I used to be a bit nervous as a result of when you’ve such a crash you by no means know what was going to occur.

“Fortunately nothing is damaged, just a few ache within the neck and the leg.”
